They are very well positioned..I have always thought that apple ultimately will give wintel the biggest head ache down the road. The OSX server is a UNIX/Mach microkernel OS that does circles around NT in terms of file and print services( I don't care what anyone says..that is where most people use NT) and far more stable than NT..and they will have a desk top version out next year probably around the same time W2000 will be out. Things look great for apple and PowerPC will maintain it's 2 year lead over Intel( so far Intel is all talk to no action) for quite some time. I have an apple laptop running OS8.5 on a 400 MHZ powerPC and I run insgina windows 98 emulator on it and it runs faster than a 400 MHZ pentium running 98 natively...go figure that.!
