My reasoning was basically that ICA is becoming THE standard by which all sorts of devices (desktops, laptops, palm devices, CE devices, etc) are connecting. I think we've seen in the past that controlling the standard can be enormously profitable. Re: CDMA, as I understand it, much of the reason for the Qualcomm run up is because CDMA is expected to become the standard. Although there are alternatives to CDMA whereas if you want to deploy Windows Apps right now (without rewriting them) and do it enterprise wide (I think this dovetails into the ASP conversation) you've got to use ICA and Metaframe. I know far far less about what going on in telecom then I do about server based computing but it seems an apt analogy.
