Brian, I have frequently said how much I admired Microsoft - I've called it a national asset. If polled, I guess I would even have to state that I have an overall favorable opinion of Mr. Gates.
Now what does that have to do with requesting that Mr Gates, and Microsoft, obey the laws of this country?
One of the newpapers that Sonny McWilliams was so kind to post, in Madrid, put it well:

Madrid daily Expansion heralded the US judge's decision that Microsoft had exploited its market dominance to quash
competition. It said the opinion, that could lead to an ultimate ruling that Microsoft had breached US anti-trust law, was
"perhaps the end of the law of the strongest."

"Now technology companies, however strong they are, will have to respect the rules of the game," the paper said.

To which we should all be saying Amen. Surely Brian, no matter how vehement a Microsoft support you might be, would resort to arguing that anything Microsoft does should be above the law... or would you?

That OLSON never answer my question about the definition of Monopoly in his dictionary, if he did not know what monopoly is all about , I do not think he is in the position to say that Microsoft owns the monopoly. If the Judge saif in his FOF that Microsoft had a monopoly , it did not mean that Microsoft really have one, as you know the class of this judge !!!!

BILL GATES ON 60 MINUTES STATED THAT PEOPLE ARE JUST PLAIN JEALOUS OF MICROSOFT'S SUCCESS

Brian last evening on 60 minutes 11 there was an interview with Bill Gates. He summed up the reason for all the actions taken against Microsoft was done du to jealousy. He said that is the way you are supposed to act when you have a product that is superior or better than the other. people are just plain jealous. He appeared to be a down to earth guy not showing any signs of arrogance but just being an over achiever. Many are just Microsoft haters and are jealous. They come on this thread with their countless posts and brainless contributions. The only mistake is that our society installed a bunch of idiots giving them power in which they make plain nuisances of themselves, wasting our time and tax dollars.

>>Enjoyed your post very much
Why did the gallup poll which was released this evening with a sampling error of
+/-3% show that 68% of Americans have a favorable opinion of Mr. Gates and only
19% have an unfavorable opinion?

We fully recognize that you are representative of a small core of MSFT haters that
are on the fringe. Your wails, your complaints of "but it is damned unfair to a lot of
us consumers as <<

Best Wishes
Frank
