I have my doubts about wireless being the "go to" technology. In fact, i don't think it will be. But it will definitely have a significant showing. An AOL alliance would be good news for stock holders.

The fastest speed QCOM has close to market is 1.8 Mbs.

It seems to me that this is at least 1 year away from any significant roll out.

On a side note, I think it would be prudent for AOL to start developing broadband content. As i type this i'm watching "Hockey's Greatest Goals" on my Real Player G2 in the top right of my screen, downloaded from Broadcast.com (47 minutes long, with only a 7 second buffer at the beginning)... pretty damn cool!
