Hi Goldie,

To be honest I just discovered that feature on the Thomson site myself yesterday. It is essentially a graphical representation
of an options chain.

The appears to reflect the intra-day trading on the options.
The key here as with looking at options chains is to look
for the most active options and for large changes in open interest.
They key here is that large increases in open interest in puts
can be bullish if the stocks price in falling. It means someone thinks the stocks price has bottomed for the next 20 trading days. Similarly, large increases in call open interest indicates the price action may have topped.

As I have not followed the changes in open interest for calls and puts for HIFN, I don't have an opinion here.

Are you alright with the fall in NN. I did not get a chance to hear
the conference call on the pre-announcement myself, but it appears to
be a serious series of problems as ATM sales were less than projected
and that is the growth story everyone was buying. Similarly, they could not explain the shortfall in the over revenues. At this point, a buyer would be only interested in selling off the non-performing businesses and keeping the ATM technology. As Seimen owns the IP for the next generation of ATM switch, I am not sure they would be interested. Again this complicated thing for any other buyer too.

Harry

Goldie,

Stopped out of HIFN. I will decide on VERT and LWIN closer to 2:00 PM
EST, it depends on whether the SP500 rallies or not.
