Mr. Jacobs..sir...owner of 40k shares: I have a couple of questions which I hope you and/or Uncle can answer for me.

1. The annual report refers to CREE as being the only U.S. firm which has developed a prototype of a stable blue laser. Who else has done this internationally? Are they equal to CREE in development of this technology? Ahead? Behind? Is their approach similar to CREE's or based on a different technological base?

2. Is there any danger of CREE running into raw material shortages or price increases which could impact future production and earnings? Increasing production by six fold is awesome and daunting. Can the pipeline handle it?

Many thanks for your educated reply.
