you're right. that's must be why my eyes bugged out when i saw the 32mb's. i was reading from a hard copy article and just now went to see if the online version repeats the same mistake. it does. smartcomputing.com (scroll down to the bottom) but the print version chart repeats the mb error on the fat32 size for partitions greater than 32gb. that extra mention of mb's gave me pause. but it sure didn't seem correct. thanks for the good 'fat' link. :) mark
