PB Re <<This does not dampen my enthusiasm>>

No? That's funny. Complete lack of Coppermine two weeks after the stealth launch sure would have me bothered.

I am not trying to pick on you PB and I do respect you. But I find it a bit strange to have some one like you, which in most cases sounding very intelligent, to continue to defend this BS launch of Intel over and over.

Regardless of what you tell us, regardless of what happens tomorrow with regard to availability, regardless of what the reasoning behind the lack of availability, THIS LAUNCH IS A TOTAL BUST. I do not care if all OEM's and distributors got warehouses full of this stuff, ready to go on sale tomorrow morning, it is a bust.

Re <<Otellini, Barrett, Bryant, have all made disclosures on how they believe the launch is going>>

I don't give didly squat to what they say. If they tell you the launch is going OK and you believe them, then you are a sucker. Paul and Elmer both agree (I think) that this launch is a total stinker compared to Intel's standards, and they are as loyal as it gets.

I apologize if this post sounds rude and abrasive, but you continue to say the problems with the launch are due to high demand and the launch and production are going great. You claim to say production is ahead of schedule and you are sure of that but you can not share the inside info. Well I call BS.
