Star-crossed, even.
By next winter Jupiter will have run past the more stolid Saturn and headed into the rich Galactic region of Taurus and Gemini. A target-rich environment for an inconstant planet.

I miss living where the skies were dark enough to make out the Galaxy's irregular streak.

Tonight I took a walk around the block with the Helenator. She put on her favorite Golden Shoes for the occasion. It was wonderful, and she walked beside me the whole way.. She talked about everything we encountered. "Stars!! Bush. Tree! Truck. WHITE truck. Red car. <long sentence> house. Fence. Airplane! <long sentence> airplane."
...
"Rocks. Big rocks! <grunt> (I say "That rock is too heavy for you to pick up!) Sagely she nods and replies "Heavy."
"What's that" (dark feature in sidewalk) (Hole.) "Hole". <nods> <gets up, walks away. Waves!> "Bye-bye, hole."

G'night.
