thanks Jay.

Slightly OT, but would you tell me who you use? Especially the experiences(good and BAD) you have had? How much do you pay monthly for the service?

Sounds like you go through Quicken, but I might be off target. Lots of banks and even a portal offering it now. Some for free! Suppose to be offered on AOL before the year's end also, as well as excite@home(though that'll most likely be through Intuit also)

Jay,
Ditto. I've been paying bills online for over 2 years, at my credit union. Because I live in Vancouver, Canada there may be small differences between here and the States - but I'm with you: the less I go to the bank (or mail a cheque) the better I like it.
Cost is about $0.50 CDN/$0.33 US per transaction, but it's worth it.
One thing to note is that my other bank offers the same service, cheaper, but they don't offer a means to pay the credit cards of competing banks - so I don't use their service.
Never had a problem, not one.

Best, Jim
