What I can't figure out is this...

Have they been waiting for the CY launch to announce this little thing?
Paul tells us it takes about six months to prepare to launch in each new city-so how did they get up and running in 10 or 12 places?

I am not very worried about HomeFreeWeb. We knew competition was coming, and I think large american companies like AOL will be much more of a menace to Cybersurf than a little canadian co.

Cybersurf did not invented the concept of free web, their advantage is the ability to provide high quality "TV like" commercials and interactive advertising solution instead of just plain banners.

Remember that the clients of a free ISP is not the users but the advertisers. Of course more users means more advertisers means more revenues, but the quality of the advertising solution of Cybersurf has more chances to interests major advertisers than plain banners IMO.

Finally, for users to adopt a free ISP over an other, they have to hear about it. Cybersurf is launching a major promotion campaign via TV and will make the 3Web CD available at Imax? Burger King? we don't know yet but people of Toronto will learn about it much faster than HomefreeWeb.
