Stephen- You are quite right. It is dangerous to go long or short in this market. It is whipsawing wildly (Like a coho salmon in the clutches of a grizzly). I am tempted to buy some value stocks- but most of them keep getting even lower in value. Gold has been my primary equity vehicle for the past year- and still is, FWIW. Besides that, mostly cash, some bonds, and land. I won't get rich in 2 months- but I don't think that is a wise target. I'll settle for comfortably well off in 10 years. <g> Regards, TW
