Sun already had Sony on board in a lot of areas, particularly with Jini. I think this spells PARTICULARLY great things to do with MAJC. I think our eyes are going to end up getting really big over this Sun/Sony thing. As far as the 'development' comment goes. I don't think so. There is a great synergy there and a LOT of money. MAJC is a lot closer to being 'there' than even I first thought. It's also a bigger deal than I first thought. I read something someplace yesterday that was from a technical bent but raved about the genius of the architecture. Sony is just as anxious to mercilessly 'innovate' all over M$'s 'freedom' as Sun is. This should add up to something solid significant quickly. IMO -JCJ
