I just added to my position here unfortunately 1 point too early. With respect to options, I think it is a valuable point to insist that the options vest over time, and that only a small poriton vest immediately, Otherwise everyone operates the company on a short term basis which is not a good thing. Also If the options are in excess of the current market price than the incentive is for the employees to work hard so that the market price goes up. You lose that incentive if when the stock price goes down you permit what is known as option repricing. Namely the employee keeps the same amount of options but the strike price is reduced because of market conditions. To me this sends a terrible message to employees and i do not want to be involved in companies that reprice those options. Most of the time they do not succeed as investment although they may be a boondogle for employees and management.

OT Jim, now I know you wouldn't be including me in the "grumpy" investors <g>! Am very glad, however, to see that management has managed to increase shareholder value (guess we've turned them around! <g>). Would be much more amenable present day to an increase in optionable shares than I was at the time the stock hovered around 23 (as I recall). Increased my position the other day. Think the new initiatives such as internet gaming are super and hope Arnold on TV really gives the WWF a shot in the arm among game customers. How long before Sony's robot dog plays THQI games (built in CD player or DVD), or we enjoy 3D displays? As opposed to "grumpy", I must say I am overjoyed to be alive with all the opportunity available to us. Now if all you guys would just donate 14.25% of your net worth to our country per Donald Trump so we can dispense with that pesky deficit. Don't worry, this will just be a one time event. (Just having a little fun folks.) tim
