Steve, re: GNSS, since you asked:
It's a bit early for me to get too excited about GNSS. I really don't like that the uptrend support established 3Q98 has been broken, the lower low, and recent high volume downtrend.
A couple of short term indicators I look at indicate a possible continuation of today's spike but, as of today it looks more likely to be a pretty short term bounce. There is some nice positive divergence in the mid term money flow indicators though, so my version of the picture could improve pretty rapidly; but right now the shorters seem to have the upper hand. Of course that 7 day short ratio could turn into some nice demand if they decide to cover, but I don't see why they would just yet.
It's also not obvious to me at first blush what's so compelling about their display driver nitch; do they have something going on there I don't get?
The analysts seem to like GNSS, but not as much as they did a couple months ago. The 33% 5 yr growth projection and the 11% earnings surprise look pretty good, but I think I'd wait for some more technicals to improve a bit.
FWIW...Alski
PS. I don't know what I think of this one yet but any bottom fishers out there might want to look at ANET for a while. Looks like it might be trying to break out from it's downtrend, now that it's price/book has gotten down to 1. Another FWIW.
