Thanks for those tidbits. I will log them away in the old brain and see how the overall scene plays out the rest of the year. It will be interesting to look back and see if that much new paper has any apparent affect on things.

i'm hoping someone can explain this to me (lwin, today).

i've been watching lwin today. the stock was in a strong uptrend, and every sign was that this stock should reverse today.

anyhow, on L2, BTRD was standing there sucknig in all shares at 88 (low of the day), for a long time. finally, he let go, it dropped 1/2 pt like nothing.

then, he went high bid again, got a few, moved out, and it fell.

came in at 87, got some more, and at one point, was high bid at 87 vs low ask at 87 1/16 (btrd).

now, can anyone explain why he'd be sucking up shares like that when everything about th estock indicated it would go down? or is he accumulating, assuming it will go up later in the day?

i can't figure it out. the only thing i could see would be to cover an earlier intraday short...?

thanks - bob
