Cute. Are you just joking or do you really write down your dreams?

I'm thinking one wouldn't necessarily have to keep a journal per se. One could take a notebook, draw up some kind of outline initially, and then fill in the blanks sort of speak as time allows, or one finds him or herself at a point where doing something different would be in order.

In my opinion, anything in a written text is bound to be invaluable to those loved ones who no longer have the person with them in this life. Also, writing things down can give one the opportunity to speak of things with regard to individual parent/child relationships one might otherwise feel uncomfortable doing in a live communication format.

I probably have about 15 to 20 wire spiral, college ruled notebooks (appr. 100 pg. per) which I have collected over the course of my life. But then, I used to enjoy writing. However, like what you eluded to in your original post, most of it probably wouldn't be all that interesting to a remaining loved one unless of course they just happened to enjoy seeing the process I happened to use at the time of putting together a piece of creative writing. I don't seem to have the desire for writing that I used to.

(Off to work)
