Reminded me of the VCR I saw advertised recently with the box banner, Displays Multi-Colored Images on your TV Screen. As you can imagine, I could hardly hold myself back. <GgG>

PHS is a wireless system they have in Japan, utilizing base stations spaced at very, very tight intervals so that handsets do not require much transmit power and can be tiny in size. rollout confined to dense urban areas, i believe. they wanted to spring this homegrown standard on the rest of the world, but it's not going anywhere and will die on the vine in a few years. i think the point is that a homegrown system from china could suffer a similar fate.
