The right to bear arms grows out of the right of self- defense, which is fundamental and inalienable, and includes the freedom to determine sufficiency, not without limitation, but without undue burden. By the way, I myself do not own any firearms....

I have no choice about whether or not I go to school. Thus, I have not given up my right to free speech by entering a school. I retain my right to express myself (albeit in a reasonable way.) Very conservative dress codes infringe upon that right and have historically been struck down in court. As for your second point, calling something a "right" means little to nothing. Rights are inherent, not to be defined at will.
