PTVL may be a good secondary play on Thursday's Expedia IPO. Any thoughts?

jimbos: Compuware (CMPR) gets my vote as the most puzzling stock of 1999. This is a top-tier software company with great management, strong earnings growth (35-40% per year) and solid mid-cap (11 billion) status. It is also one of the most disappointing stocks to have owned this year. I owned it briefly early in the year, watched it trade sideways for a month or two, then sold it before it tanked 25-30%. I have no doubt that it has suffered because of misunderstanding regarding the amount of Y2K business it does (or, better said, doesn't do). It is greatly undervalued and will be discovered sometime next year. Having said that, I would need to see some definite upward momentum (15-20%) before I jumped back into this one. Well worth tracking, however.
