I woke up a few minutes ago and checked the close in Frankfurt. Softbank was at $533. Schwab gives out their "indication" of $518 Bid and $532 Asked from the Market Maker (Merrill Lynch). Their spread is only $14 today. It appears that the $500 mark was not much of a barrier. It wasn't too long ago when I said I would be happy with a $400 year end close. Then I promised that I would take a couple of young ladies on a cruise when Softbank hit $1000. Now I wonder if I should plan on the Caribbean or Alaska? <G>.
