I only had one locker inspection my entire high school career, and yet I knew a number of people had drugs, knives and other no-nos short of guns at my school. It was prompted when a student brought an unloaded gun to school to show to a friend. What that inspection turned up in what was considered a clean, quiet school was pretty shocking.

When I was in school you respected your teachers and followed the strict dress code whether you liked it or not. And this was public school. I don't know if this makes any difference to the problems now. It's just my observation. My kids went to public and private school. And I told them they had to respect their teachers whether they agreed with them or not. They got through fine, thank God.
