JFD, re: "so what is the weakness here?"

Any time you have a run-up on a stock, you will have profit takers on any hint of bad news (sometimes without a hint of bad news). The more the stock runs up without a pull back, the higher the risk of a sharp pull back, as the momentum buyers are not committed to the stock/fundamentals. Thats why it's good to see a three steps forward, one step back, three steps forward type of trading.

Intel fundamentals look great. As we get closer to January, institutional investors will know they have to be heavily weighted in Intel, and the stock will go up (assuming no change in the fundamentals). This is a great time to buy on weakness (IMHO).

Patience.

John
