KG4,
Perhaps we will have the opportunity to buy more at $306 next year at this time.

Buying @ $76.50 post split{basis} is a wise thing.
Lets say we end up @ $ 120 post split , say Jan.15th.
With the January effect kickin in after y2k timidness, why wouldn't $135~150$ not be beyond a possibility !?

Hi KG4,

I bought some shares this morning for my husband's IRA. I got them at 304 and thought I'd overpayed. <G>

BTW, I'm very happy you didn't listen to me and bought QCOM last week!

I sure hope this company doesnt let me down next year.....I normally don't buy stocks that are at their
all time high, and I have done so twice now with QCOM. I did so because I believe the best is yet to
come, and hope the company proves me right.

KG, do not worry. I bought every single share of QCOM at its high (may be give a point or two). I bought at 127, 167 and 197. I am sitting pretty am I not? If things are going to be as good as common sense says, there is nothing to worry.

BTW, I do not expect this exuberance to last very long (may be until
split). But surely earnings will eventually justify even higher price.

Good luck
Ramesh
