Paul, Re: Then you have the PACKAGE issue - and AMD is currently stuck with a Slot A - and that won't fit into any notebook computer that YOU would want to own. I do wish I own an Osborne(?). I recall that you collect these stuff too. Do you have one ? Gary

AMD is working on a notebook Athlon module...oops did I spill the beans? Personally I don't even want an Athlon notebook...cost and battery life are the most important notebook issues, IMHO. AMD will win on cost with the K6+ and I'm not sure abut the power consumption "then" but now the .18u P-III seems the least consumer of power... Jim
