William - you're right, I got carried away in using the verb "bleeding". I would not say they have gotten to that state.

Am I the only active Amazon bull left on this thread? I think you all should let me entertain my personal delusions, and
we should stay off-topic!

That is my plan now since I will never buy it. Your recommendation of MU so far would be good. My lack of comfort in these valuation is a problem so I do not pull the trigger.

No, I'm an amzn bull. BTW the tools site is up, and I like it. I'm sure they put that in for xmas - Amzn realizes that the generic "gifts" that some sites use is worthless, everything needs a category - I agree with that, and home improvement is as good as any.

However short term I think expectations are a little high for this xmas season - I don't know how it is possible to exceed to the upside really for amzn.

This reminds me a little of my old Oracle days in the early 90s, the enterprise stocks were the hot thing and msft (which was on fire in 1991 or so) cooled off a little to digest their prior gains and 3:1 split etc.

PS I am convinced based on actual exposure to the business that back-office (warehouse automation etc.) is NOT well understood by the technical management of many etailers. Amzn may very well have overbuilt in the wh automation area - not a catastrophe but something they will need to work through.
