Almost one hour after trading, I see that I was allocated 25 shares from MSDW Online. 25 shares! They must be kidding! I asked 200. I guess this is their appreciation of my still holding of SCMR they gave me last time. This tells me how highly demanded UPS is. Anyway, FDX is not moving. I am puzzled. I bought some yesterday at 43 1/2. Mark

I cannot believe the price is where it's at! Based on what I read and heard, many thought the price would have SOARED to maybe $200 a share! Has to be a bargain at these prices. What do you think?

Ibexx, thanx for the response, and... I was reading in the WSJ (I think) about FDX's gamble on a radical change for the way they deliver packages. If I remember, they said that FDX's growth has slowed due to electronic document delivery usurping their document delivery. One may think that they would get into electronic delivery too, but it appears the are going for the effeciency operating margin squeeze by changing how the different parcels of deliverys are routed to the final destinations. Looks like the are going to apply the new delivery model for electronic networks (packet switching) to their brick and mortar delivery model. I guess there could be room for some new thinking there. I just saw an ad for the post office delivering stamps to residents because they are going to be in the area anyways... of course! Just my opinion, and happy trading! Jon :)
