Well, to be fair, you should mention that virtually every direct seller (at least in tech) does their books this way. Dell,
Compaq, Gateway, Cisco, etc. etc. Amazon did not pioneer this, and I believe that if they didn't count fulfillment as a
cost of sales etc. then there would be more cause for concern.

Lizzie - does this mean that Dell, Compaq, Gateway, Cisco, etc. count shipping as revenue or cost of sale?
