NN being taken for a "test drive" was reported earlier this week...Alcatel reported 3rd quarter profits of 296 mil euros versus 50 mil euros a year ago...with rumor of acquiring NN.
Siemens has alawys been part of the "family"...Ericsson, Marconie,Tlab and Fujitsu could be kicking the tires...with Lutz (Pres) stepping down...maybe it is no more than a flat that could be "fixed"...does have an ace with it's Asynchronous Transfer mode technology and is a large market shareholder in the Bell companies.$30 a share was an estimate that might make it work...but will that buy enough aspirin? Getting a headache myself sorting it all out. A puzzler...!
