I think TXCC is "lagging" because of a lack of understanding about their products by the investment community. I have assumed that TXCC was lumped with GALT/MMCN and has been weak from "some concerns due" to the recent IBM/CSCO announcement.

I viewed this as a buying opp and picked up some while it was in the 40s.

JMO,
Michael

GNSS is impressive today. Let's talk about options, for a moment.

Today, I am detecting the inklings of "hover" mode for some stocks I follow. I define hover mode as the propensity of the stock to move around the location the option may ultimately rest when expiration occurs.

This doesn't mean the stock can't scamper to the next highest strike or move lower, but it seems that over years of watching these things (writing many CC's....), the end of the week before expiration is the first of a couple of telltale signals of where the stocks may end up. The MAXPain theory also takes a place in this, too, although I don't have their data on these stocks.

For example these stocks are "hovering" around these locations:

TXCC, probably 50
VTSS, probably 47.5
QWST, probably 37.5
TER, probably 45

Let me know what you think, anyone....

Steve

TXCC had a mini-boom today, but still in hover mode around 50. I picked this up today, which is what obviously made AMKR move:

Amkor Technology Inc. (AMKR 25 5/8 +2 13/16): SoundView Technology initiated coverage of provider of semiconductor packaging and test services with a "buy" rating and six month price target of $30
