Took her 12 hours to figure that out. 20 minutes before something painful was to be done she started loading up. Whomever came up with that devise deserves a Nobel Prize.

It doesn't. Even though she was examined by a doctor he couldn't prescribe medication, and her primary couldn't without conferring with the surgeon who would do the surgery the next day. Seems odd as every soldier carries a dose of morphine.
