kat and dako,
Thanks for the responses. Dako, here's a reply to your post.

<<You obviously take your job on this board very seriously, but I'm going to
heart of the matter for you. This is a)Canadian and b)a toy company>>

Agreed. Even though GRIN has been trading over 3 months now at my original target
valuation of post #0 ($10 to $20), I still hold a large position in GRIN and so I take
it very seriously. GRIN is still mainly a toy company, though Grand Concepts has been
growing rapidly.

<<Based on any "normalized" valuation, it would be trading in half of its current price.>>

I like to see other posters' ideas on GRIN valuations and would like to hear more
from you on this. I should probably try to update my views on GRIN valuations but
personally I think I'm a better judge of 'value' stocks than 'growth' stocks and as
I said in the previous post, the market seems to be transitioning towards a
'growth' valuation for GRIN.

<<The move is entirely due to the Pokemon phenomenon, in which GRIN has virtually no
participation compared to its revenue base. It will get virtually no Christmas kick as
shipments of its Pokemon trinkets are presently tiny. The company was honest enough to
tell you that in its release.>>

Personally, I didn't buy any more stock based on Pokemon and I don't think anyone
reading this board did either, because I reported their Pokemon Character license
weeks before the market seemed to take any notice (if anyone did buy on that post
then where's my cut ;) ). I think you have the same ideas as me on when their sales
'ramp' for Pokemon will occur (beginning now'ish and full blast next year).

<<Even if the mentally disenfranchised were not aware of the above, it should be
understood that the further we get past the movie and the closer we get to Christmas,
the lower "Pokemon" stocks will trade. It's called the discounting process of emotional
fad investing. Once KIDE starts rolling over, GRIN will get the opportunity to find its
fundamental value. That's in the single digits.>>

These may prove to be invaluable comments for anyone attempting to do short-term
trading of GRIN. However, come the New Year GRIN will still be in business and
after the hectic day-to-day activity of the Christmas period, they will have more
time to spend on empire building - they have some money to do that now - and I'm
sure they're going to keep us all informed.

Regards,
Frank McV
