I don't understand Leaps. I am micro managing this (almost) All Q portfolio keeping my margin pretty high. It's paying prettily so far. I'm not even good at calculating where to put sell orders just in case. Dang if I don't I can't even go to the store. Maybe in my case a little knowledge is a dangerous thing.

Do you opine that there will be a pull back before the split? What if the handset sales is announced? Won't that send us up again?

LindBill:
I think margin at this level would work if you were watching it every minute and ready to pull the plug at any downturn, at least far enough to get your margin covered.

Might explain some of the recent moves. Each day a new group of speculators comes along and says that the Q is due. No way can this stock keep going like it has. They dont do their DD and do not know this stock is still gaining strength. (The change over to CDMA is just starting. The fundamentals are still there and will remain for some time to come.)

They sit through the first part of the day and watch it go even higher. By the end of the day, they cant bear to watch it any longer and close out.

All I can offer is to point them in the direction of 'sympathy' in the dictionary.
