So...you're saying that there is hardware technology available today that CSCO, COMS, LU and other vendors have not exploited? Server technology, for one, has not been fully exploited by CSCO, COMS and LU. Smarter and more powerful servers and routing software in the server is one of the answers to improving internet performance. The separation of the hardware and routing software combined with open routing software will lead to better hardware and improved routing.
