GM...somebody help me out with this...

Press Release from Ariba website:

General Motors Drives Reductions in Corporate Spending
with Ariba Operating Resource Management System
World's Largest Auto Maker Signs Client Agreement with
Ariba

SUNNYVALE, CA - March 15, 1999 - Ariba, Inc., the leader in network
commerce solutions for Operating Resource Management (ORM), today
announced that General Motors Corporation (NYSE: GM) will implement the
Ariba Operating Resource Management SystemTM (Ariba ORMSTM ) to
reduce corporate spending and improve delivery times on IT goods and
services. GM, the world's largest auto maker, will deploy the intranet-based
Ariba system first in North America and eventually globally.

Ariba ORMS is an integrated suite of applications that connects buyers to
suppliers and provides a solution for the acquisition and management of
non-production goods and services, collectively termed "operating
resources." These include capital equipment, services, maintenance, repair, and operating (MRO)
supplies, and travel and entertainment expenses, essentially the products and services that companies
acquire to run their day-to-day business operations.

GM will use Ariba ORMS to facilitate the procurement of standard IT commodities, to track the metrics
of turn-around times, and to gain a comprehensive view of all related spending. Ariba ORMS is a sound
foundation for other eProcurement applications, as GM continues to implement eCommerce solutions.

"Through its sophisticated e-commerce capabilities and decision support tools, Ariba ORMS will allow
us to identify significant opportunities for cost reduction," said Bob Chaffin, corporate director of finance
and contracts at GM. "By replacing our manual, paper-based system we can optimize our procurement
processes and more closely control our spending while leveraging company-wide economies of scale."

"By adopting Ariba ORMS, General Motors and our other Global 2000 clients indicate that eCommerce
applications are no longer only the purview of early adopters," said Keith Krach, president and CEO at
Ariba. "Because Ariba's enterprise-class eCommerce solutions have continually proven themselves by
delivering significant benefits to all our clients, the system is now being implemented at numerous
mainstream companies like GM."

I know it is dated but do we still get business from GM or
are they an exclusive Commerce One client?
