Yogi;
<<That kind of frank discussion from a Japanese CFO makes me twitchy. You sure Munson isn't being used to deliver a message or precipitate an action by a competitor?>>

This is my gut reaction too Yogi but was curious to see what others had to say before speaking up. In other words, "milady doeth protest too much" in this case. Like what...he expects us to believe that Fujitsu is going to throw in the towel after merel losing 20m yen. Horsefeathers! The japanese have long traded margins for share. Its there thing, their schtik if you will. Naw, I am with you. Another point is that it is extremely rare for a Japanese concern to release any data regarding an operating business unit. So lets assumetThere is another agenda here...so who is it? Well, maybe you are right about the message to Seagate, but I don't think so. It is a bit too Machivellian, even for a company like Fujitsu. It may be a message to the people. For exampe, the guys who run the divisions that supply the storage products group and enjoy transfer margins not available in real markets. It also may be some simple dissembling to throw folks off the track of what they are really up to. Maybe an acquisition? Like Maxtor or WDC? There is no question in my mind that Fujitsu's desktop cannot compete favorably in this market. I have felt so for a very long time. So what are they up to?

Best,
Stitch
