That could account for it - right nw, in view of the DOJ's Judge Finding of Fact in the Microsoft case. anything smacking of lawsuits will send the weak of heart scattering out of Intel and into a safe haven such as Amazon or Ariba. Further, Intel is going through a product/process transition - Coppermine/0.18 micron - and these transitional times are always difficult as Intel ramps up new products, ramps down the old ones and all the other juggling issues of transitions. Wall Street doesn't like question marks - that's why they feel the "dot.coms" are such a safe bet. Paul
