Anybody know how this might affect NETP (or was it the reason for the late sell-off).

'WALTHAM, Mass. -- It's possible to arrive late to the party but leave the most lasting impression. SAP is counting on this scenario as it readies a long-anticipated entrance into the customer relationship management (CRM) software market.

The enterprise applications giant on Tuesday previewed its forthcoming CRM releases, and company executives voiced expectations that CRM applications and services would soon generate more revenue than its current stock-and-trade enterprise resource planning (ERP) products.

The CRM applications are packaged as part of SAP's mySAP.com Workplace Web business portal architecture.

Citing what he called conservative estimates, SAP co-chairman Hasso Plattner said he expects SAP to complete at least 100 CRM projects next year, with a value of at least $200 million, and that in 2001 CRM will be the company's main revenue driver.'
