Wireless Knowledge Teams With QUALCOMM to
Demonstrate Revolv Service at Unprecedented Speeds

SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 10, 1999--Wireless Knowledge LLC, a joint
venture company between Microsoft Corp. (Nasdaq:MSFT - news) and QUALCOMM Inc. (Nasdaq:QCOM - news)
successfully demonstrated its Revolv(SM) service on QUALCOMM's new High Speed Data Rates (HDR) at QUALCOMM's
10th anniversary of the first Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) call.

Revolv is the first in a series of services from Wireless Knowledge that enables mobile professionals to securely access key
corporate Microsoft Exchange information such as critical e-mail, contacts, calendar and news, with any mobile, Internet-ready
device, from any location.

On Monday, QUALCOMM rolled out its HDR technology, compatible with existing cdmaOne(TM) technology and capable of
supplying cost-effective wireless Internet access to consumers. HDR supports mobile access and enables data rates of up to 1.8
Megabits per second (Mbps) in fixed and mobile environments.

''Our recent collaboration with QUALCOMM highlights the continued success of our partnership,'' said John Major, president and
CEO, Wireless Knowledge. ''The Revolv service, coupled with QUALCOMM's HDR technology will allow wireless access of
critical corporate data at virtually instantaneous speeds, increasing the productivity and efficiency of mobile workforces.''

''With enhanced High Speed Data Rates, Wireless Knowledge will be able to provide superior on-the-move functionality for
mobile workers who need critical business information at a moment's notice,'' said Jeff Jacobs, senior vice president, corporate
business development, QUALCOMM Inc. ''We are pleased to be working side by side with Wireless Knowledge to enable this
technology for mobile business professionals.''

QUALCOMM's HDR technology is complimentary to the Revolv service, supporting e-mail, web browsing, e-commerce,
telematics and many other applications, while offering end-users continuous, untethered access to the Internet and next-generation
data services. HDR's versatility allows the technology to be embedded in handsets, laptop and handheld computers, and other
fixed, portable and mobile devices.
