For the thread...if you want to see some movement here's a 100 day comparison chart between CSCO vs LUCENT and QCOM vs JDSU. My position is mostly in LUCENT, however, I do own a wee bit of the other three.

I have no idea why QCOM jumps so much. It was up as much as 29 bucks today, hitting a high of 328 1/4 and is right now around 313.

Clay, Cisco's enterprise offerings are being commoditized. They have been around for so long without any real technological improvement we are seeing Pac rim companies offer routers at less than half what csco wants (pick up any direct mail catalog). Thus the NT 50% price discount. They feel the heat. Chambers does too but wouldnt admit it, even in his grave. Their high end stuff is buried by NT and LU so they dont have a chance there either.
