The most successful thing we have done in Bosnia is to stop the killing. Getting the politics and economy right is up to the locals -the progress report there speaks for itself, unfortunately. I get by with a light jacket now and a parka in a few weeks. And my sweet good nature, of course. When I am not grumbling.
