Is it a full ISP, or does it just provide on-site information?

I also have altavista as a backup (and yes it is free)... however, just fyi I don't believe it is acceptable as your primary ISP. The banner flashes at you from the top.. which is annoying, but that isn't too bad. The real problem is that every 15 mins or so a dialog box appears with something like "your fuel gauge is low - click on the banner to recharge" - what this means is, you need to click on one of their ads for more time on the ISP. This will drive you nuts after a while - I have it down to a system - I always click on the TV page, there isn't much graphics, I barely wait for it to paint and then I'm back to SI. I'm an expert on TV though! LOL
