clearly this price move comes on the heals of the comments during the earnings CC and the HDR CC
I think you are right. Seems like the price run of late is something of a one-two punch:
One: Announcement of 4-for-1 split along w/good results -> appeals to retail investors
Two: HDR CC -> Just a guess, but I don't think this is really in the face of retail investors so much as institutional investors.
And then in the shadows, there still lurks:
Three (possible knockout punch for shorts): Finalization of subscriber div. sale (with whom, and under what terms?)

<Ok, well then how should we value the trailing earnings when they do not include data revenues. I don't have the answer, but clearly this price move comes on the heals of the comments during the earnings CC and the HDR CC. >
i agree 100%.
however hdr revenues won't come online till q2 01. looking that far forward is using binoculars to justify 100 pe's.
the question is what kind of revenue will the data rates of today generate till hdr arrives. i don't think anyone knows, it's too early. i hope to ask bill freeman what he expects bam's wireless internet revenues to be for the next yr.
