1: One end to the Cablemakers' bracket, which must then
be connected by external cable to a terminated device or
a terminated chain of devices. You can't leave it just unconnected.

2: Middle connectors to your SCSI CD-ROM (plus other internal devices). These must NOT be terminated.

3: The other end to the motherboard 50-pin connector.


Ohhhh...now I see... a big loop with the bracket (and ext devices) on one end and the onboard adapter on the other with interior devices in between.

I though you previously meant to disable the host adapters termination in SCSI BIOS, which I can do. I have enable/disable/auto options. And then have the unterminated adapter in the middle. But, I think, that would result in the 'T' formation that Howard said would be problematic.

Areyou suggesting the loop setup only because you thought my onboard adapter counld not disable termination? Because I can go either way in regards to enabling or disabling host adapter termination.
