you are so right! sitting on a puny number of shares for weeks is ridiculous. For example if you purchase 5 shares of HD (an excellent co.) you could have watched it soar about 10 points in the last few weeks. But 5x10 is only $50. bucks. Now, you could hold for 20 years and probably it will split a few times etc. You would definitely make money. Too bad, you will be too old to enjoy it. On the other hand you sell it at its recent high ( about 80) add another $300. or so and buy 30 shares of CHTR ( a guaranteed winner) that would be $30. a day for each point move up. And fear not if it sells off during a dumb market day.Just be ready to buy more. Thank you Mr. Allen for thinking of the little people. Oh yeah don't forget to deduct your brokers fees for buying and selling said 5 shares. You are left with $20-$25 if your lucky.

Roger, personally I love the way you stated the obvious.
Besides my Laptop with Internet access to Online Brokerage accounts...my calculator is my most prized possession.

Keep up the math...

Aloha,
Mary
