That's the problem, there are no formulas and MM's have some ability to "play" with a stock. Many of us don't necessary blame the MM's because they take advantage of the "system".

The better answer is to eliminate the MM's altogether, so that a computer trades the stocks based on true buy/sell volumes.

It is being discussed seriously I hope.

Many MM's naturally get caught in a short position if the volume suddenly perks up, but they playy some nasty games to cover their shorts once the volume slacks off. That's where I have big problems with them.

It is hard enough to find WINNERS in the OTC/BB without having to fight the MM's too, but the good news is that stocks don't go down forever. WINR is down 75% from its highs because it was/is:

a) Manipulated by the MM's
b) being punished for the delay in its financial filing

Most of us feel that it is horrifically undervalued without question if their earnings are true as stated (and they are libel for wire fraud if they are not true as stated in their PR's), so we feel it is just a matter of time.

Waiting is hard, but this is no time to panic. Let's see what the next couple weeks brings in the way of news.
