Could you please elaborate a little more on that statement ? With my limited experience all this is extremely frustrating to me. I'm also trying to make sense out of the fact that most experienced daytraders get fills buying at the bid, and selling at the ask.- To me that seems to occur only when the price is moving against you, i.e. I can get filled (shorting)at the ask because as the stock moves higher( I don't want it to)the bid now becomes the ask and I get filled. I also think (am guessing)that MM's really prefer market orders and shun limit orders(more or less).
