Following up on yesterday's Baan World announcement, I have pulled a few points together that might be of interest to investors of Net Shepherd (ASE: WEB).

- Net Shepherd Inc. announced yesterday that it has been invited by the Vanenburg Group (one of its major shareholders) to participate in the BaanWorld 99 Exposition in Vienna, Austria. This exposition started yesterday, and runs till the 12th. Baan estimate over 3,000 customers and visitors from around the world will be in attendance. The theme of the show is "Accelerating Business Performance".

- The Vanenburg Group owns over 10% of Net Shepherd.

- The Vanenburg Group owns BAAN Business Systems (BBS).

- BAAN is one of the most prominent ERP application providers in the world. They have their Corporate Ambassador for BAAN sitting as a representative on Net Shepherd's Board of Directors.

- The BaanWeb of companies employs over 2,500 professionals in BBS/VBS offices in more than 60 countries.

- Toyota uses BAAN Business Applications in its operations in Japan and oversees (this includes Thailand, Malaysia, and several other Asia-Pacific countries as well).

- NSI has just become a part of Vanenburg's Intranet which links all of their affiliate businesses.
