Me or MJ either. Don't get her started. But what about the horses that have been cruel to me? Throwing me over a fence and crashing into a big tree branch....

Jeez.

And they have those TEETH.

They're like....they're like burros, is what they are.

<<One of the reasons I am out of the horse business is because I couldn't handle the cruelty I saw by owners. >>

Same as I quit field trialing dogs. Now I did smack the side of the barn with a shovel when a stud horse was acting up but I never touched him. I'm kinda cruel with my dogs, no, I never hit them or yell at them but I do give them the "I'm disappointed" speach like we all have had to sit through.

At a field trial my now departed Bud dog got confused. Most would have used a shock collar and nailed him. Me? I handed my wallet to the judge and waded the swampy area and walked him through what he was supposed to do. Had room service bring us up a couple of NY strips that night. Animals.. I try to build a partnership. It works, trust is a good thing. Hitting an animal just proves you can hit it.
