Bill, i just had a look at a cycle chart, and it actually points up into July of next year...however, the projected down cycle was never fully consummated so to speak. we have one last chance this year to get something along those lines in terms of the cycles...a three week stretch beginning in mid November.
i agree things can go up simultaneously for a while, but there clearly is a limit to that in view of all the derivatives exposure...as last year has shown, a liquidity crunch can come out of the blue. i agree no catalyst is on the horizon, it seems all blue skies...that is in itself worrisome.

anyway, i intend to buy at the cycle low in early December...the latest rally caught me a bit unawares in terms of it's extent, but i recently bought some stuff that instantly went up almost 35% in three days...there are certain sectors you can throw darts at. it's actually getting too crazy for my taste...
